Good flow if you hit the shots. Ball physics are a little unrealistic at times (super easy to dead catch) but once you learn how it will move no issue. Great lighting and voice acting. Sound effects at times need work. Modes and scoring are fun. Overall great game. I have the high score in 3 ball right now lol.. It's as good as any of the Zen Pinball tables but it's only one at the moment. Looks good on my vertical cabinet setup and with 3D vision on my desktop. Needs backglass support and ability to move the DMD to the second montior but these this will come. VR support would be cool also. Aaaargh!!!. A thumbs up to me mateys. This game is really heavy on the system requirements but it works! I played 5 ball then found the way in options to make it three ball play. The second time I launched the game , I got a fatal error and crash so I deleted another new game I had just downloaded, restarted my computer, then relaunched the game and it started up again to play. Now I'm about to play me some pinball wicked !. I'm a pretty big pinball player. I follow the industry, play all the newest tables, play in a few leagues, go to tournaments. I really like that there's now a pretty decent offering of PC pinball games now. It's great. However, it hurts me to say this, but they're not all good. This one is not good. I mean, its a good try, but the graphics are very muddy, and it is just not fun. That's it really, its not fun.. I love that a new pinball developer is throwing their hat in the ring and love the possibility of a new series of digital pinball, and hope this game gets the support it deserves. Though sadly, the only thing this game gave me was an error message "Low Level Fatal Error". I never even saw the title screen, despite multiple attempts at restarting my pc, verifing the game files, running as administrator, and reinstalling, but nothing worked. Hopefully there will be more tables and the price will drop a bit more (its currently $10, but got it for $8, which might seem like a lot, but I like to support new devs). Sadly, I have no option but to refund. Hopefully it gets better in the future.. As a software pinball player and also owning several real pins, this is a fun table. I can really appreciate the effort to create a fast professional layout to keep people coming back for more. Nice job to the dev team.. I can't get it to play on computer. Best 8 quid i have spent in a long time. Graphics are great, 144fps @ 1440p (on a Titan XP), look and plays amazing and the physics seem spot on. Good job.. I saw this game and the words PIRATE ( Yes I am a wuss for anything pirate..don't ask why. :)Anyway only played a short while due to life etc but what made me buy this game above anything else was the raw honest truth from the devs about this game and it's future. Also obviously other reviews...I felt the need to support them with further development because I was taken aback by what appears to be total steadfast to finishing and enhancing this game..Gets my vote for sure.GTX 1070 I5 6600k 16 gb ram playing game at 60fps on a 60hz monitor in 1440p.The game looks fabulous and honestly is above the quality of some FX 3 tables.I feel that real skill is being applied to this game and I am looking forward to seeing others down the line :). I've no hesitation recommending this, even in early access. This is a yery fun, imaginative table, with immersive music, great sounds, and incredible lighting effects. This is one of the few tables where the balllooks like it's really there, from the effects like spinning and the ball reflections.Overall, I love the way the lighting of the table gets you into the game, very well done, especially the transitions to thunderstorm and treasure chest modes. As it's early access, I had a few suggestions:For navigating the menu, at the moment only the directional buttons work, but it mightbe nice to also allow the left thumbstick to be used for that input? It's because on theSteam Controller, the directional buttons are simulated via the left trackpad and theymake a clunky sound when pressed, whereas it would feel more natural to use theleft thunbstick on the Steam Controller for navigating the game menus (as the leftthunbstick on the Steam Controller happens to be in the exact same position as the directional buttons are in on the XBOX controller).Could the position of the Dot Matrix Display be "shiftable" more toward the upper leftcorner, so that it could be made a little larger via the Operator menu? At the moment, there seems to be plenty of room above and to the left of it, which seems wasted.Perhaps it would help to be able to make the DMD bigger, without covering up the figure in the crows nest?Sometimes the flippers seem to absorb the ball's energy too much, hard toexplain it's as though they sometimes "lose their bounce" resulting in the ballsometimes almost stopping on them. The "switch view" button's operation is a little confusing, does it combine the "lock view"functionality? I like the way the view of the playfield moves with the ball, but I lost thatfunctionality for a while after I switched views, then it came back, so I wasn't sure.Edit: I think pressing the switch view button a second time while in the same viewchanges from the "lock view" mode to the "free camera" mode, but the GUI for thatisn't terribly clear.Sometimes, the view of the playfield seems to "jump" toward the top of the playfield(perhaps because of some event that's happening there, e.g. when the shark swallows the ball) but it seems too sudden, I'd prefer the smooth movement of the camera to be preserved all the time, if possible.I put together a working Steam Controller configuration, perhaps you could alsoprovide a default one so that folks don't have to figure it out for themselves, ascurrently the game assumes an XBOX controller, but the Steam controller is alittle different. I haven't been able to get vibration to work yet with the SteamController. For folks trying to use their own non-XBOX controllers, it might be useful to provide a way to test the controller inputs e.g. on the menu page where it currently displays their assignments (e.g. by lighting up when the correspondingcontroller input is pressed, or something). It would also be good to providea way to test if the vibration is working properly, as the game only vibratesthe controller for certain events. I noticed that the "nudge" is behaving in a very "binary" fashion, whereas in Timeshock, Pinball Arcade and Pinball FX2 it seems that the intensity of the "nudge"can be more controlled, so that it doesn't result in a warning each time. The same troublehappens when using the XBOX controller, so I don't think it's related to my SteamController configuration. Please look into whether you could add Steam VR support, a table like thiswould be just incredible in VR, you did mention it's on your todo list, I wasn'tsure on the priority. I'd even be willing to pay extra for VR support on this game!It might be fun to be able to aim the cannon, or use it during multiball?I wasn't sure if there's any "skillshot" in this table, some tables have them. Also, the skull has such perfect teeth... perhaps it'd be fun if it lost one ortwo from the hits it takes leading up to multiball? Also, when using View 3, you can't see the balls resting on top of the skull, perhaps placing them (glowing)in the eye sockets instead of on top of the skull might be a fun way to make them visible in view 3? Nor can you see which top rollovers are lit when firingthe cannon, which makes getting the rum pretty much a random event in View 3.Thanks so much for making this game available on Steam! On my Windows 7 machine (build documented here: http://www.penlug.org/foswiki/bin/view/Main/LinuxHardwareInfoAsusP8Z77V)I get the following crash immediately after the game appears (ir renders forabout one second, then crashes). It does give the warning "The installed version of the NVIDIA graphics driver has known issues. Please update to the latest driver version. NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Installed: 327.23 Recommended: 378.92"but all of the other games on my Steam account work fine with this driver, and unfortunately none of the newer nVidia drivers work properly for 3D vision surround.I thought I'd mention the crash, as Pinball Arcade runs OK at 1920x1080 resolution in DX11 mode, so there might be a bug in your game?Your game runs fine on my single-monitor Windows 10 system, but I was curious what it would look like with nVidia 3D vision enabled (if it supports that?)hence trying it on this Windows 7 machine, but perhaps this is a DX11-only game, hence the crash? Is there a way to launch it in the legacy mode?
